❊ FAQS ❊

Pricing varies depending on the size, placement, level of detail, and overall design. I typically price tattoos at a flat rate whenever possible. Once I have all of the details for your tattoo, I’ll be able to provide you with a price estimate before booking.
My minimum for tattoos is typically $85–$100, and I also offer half day and full day session rates for larger scale pieces or projects. Please feel free to message me with any questions you may have regarding pricing or if you’d like a quote!
-
Yes. A $50-$100 non refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment and will go toward the final cost of your tattoo. Your appointment is not considered booked until your deposit has been received. Deposits are non refundable and may be forfeited in the event of a late cancellation, last minute reschedule, or no-show.
-
The best way to contact me about a tattoo is through texting my phone number (813)-421-3758. This helps me keep all of your tattoo information, reference photos, placement, sizing, and availability together in one place.
-
I accept most common payment methods besides checks, cash is ALWAYS preferred. If you have any questions about payment before your appointment, feel free to reach out!
-
Please get a good night’s sleep, eat a full meal beforehand, and make sure you’re hydrated. Avoid drinking alcohol the night before your appointment and try to take good care of the skin being tattooed in the days leading up to it.
Please arrive clean and wear comfortable black clothing that gives me easy access to the area we’ll be tattooing. You do not need to shave the area beforehand, I will take care of that for you.
-
Please bring a valid photo ID, your preferred form of payment, and anything that will help keep you comfortable during your appointment. For longer sessions I recommend bringing water, snacks, headphones, a charger, or something to keep yourself entertained etc.
-
Yes! You’re welcome to bring 1–2 guests with you to your appointment. I just ask that you keep it to no more than two people due to limited space and so I’m able to stay focused while tattooing. I want you to feel comfortable and supported during your appointment while also keeping the environment calm and comfortable for everyone in the shop.
-
No. I cannot safely tattoo skin that is sunburned, peeling, irritated, injured, or otherwise compromised. If the area we’re tattooing becomes sunburned before your appointment, please contact me as soon as possible so we can figure out the best next step.
-
I do not tattoo anyone who is currently pregnant. If you are breastfeeding, please reach out before booking so we can discuss your situation and whether it would be appropriate to schedule your tattoo at that time.
-
No. You must be 18 or older with a valid photo ID to be tattooed by me.
-
I’ll go over aftercare with you at the end of your appointment and make sure you know exactly what to do before you leave. Keeping your tattoo clean, allowing it to breathe, and avoiding picking or scratching it are all important parts of the healing process.
Your tattoo is an open wound while it begins healing, so always wash your hands before touching it and be sure to follow the aftercare instructions I provide.
For a digital copy, all of my aftercare instructions are available in the “Aftercare” highlight on my Instagram. If you don’t use Instagram, I’m happy to text or email the instructions to you as well.
-
If I apply second skin (saniderm) to your tattoo, I’ll let you know how long I recommend keeping it on based on your tattoo and the bandage being used.
Some fluid, ink, and plasma collecting underneath the bandage can be completely normal. Remove it sooner if the seal breaks, the bandage begins leaking, or the tattoo becomes exposed.
When removing it, gently peel the bandage off under warm running water rather than pulling it quickly from dry skin. Wash the tattoo gently afterward with unscented antibacterial soap and pat it dry with a clean paper towel.
-
Remove your initial covering according to the instructions I give you after your appointment. Wash your hands first, then gently wash the tattoo with warm water and unscented antibacterial soap.
Pat it dry with a clean paper towel and allow it to breathe. During the dry phase, apply a very thin layer of the aftercare product I recommend. It’s very important to avoid over moisturizing your tattoo.
Do not pick, scratch, or peel your tattoo while it heals.
-
During the 2-3 week healing process, please avoid swimming of any kind, soaking the tattoo in baths or hot tubs, and exposing it to excessive sunlight. You’ll also want to be mindful of workouts that cause excessive sweating, friction, or stretching around the tattooed area during the first week.
Once your tattoo is completely healed, sunscreen is one of the best ways to keep it looking good long-term.
-
Some tattoos may need a small touch-up once they’re completely healed, and in most cases, touch-ups are free. If you notice an area that healed lighter or needs a little attention, send me a clear photo once your tattoo has fully healed so I can take a look.
If multiple touch-ups are needed or there are signs that the tattoo was not properly cared for during the healing process, a small touch-up fee may apply. Following the aftercare instructions I provide will give your tattoo the best chance of healing properly the first time.
-
Yes! Gift certificates are available for anyone looking to gift a tattoo. To purchase one or ask any questions, you can text me at (813)-421-3758 and i’ll be happy to help!

Please do not use numbing cream before your appointment without discussing it with me first. Certain products can affect the skin and the tattooing process, so if you’re concerned about pain or comfort, please reach out beforehand and we can talk about your options.
If you arrive at your appointment wearing numbing cream that was not discussed and approved beforehand, your appointment will need to be rescheduled for another day without it.
-
In many cases, yes, but every scar is different. The scar generally needs to be completely healed and mature before it can safely be tattooed. Please send me clear photos when messaging me so I can take a look beforehand.
-
Possibly! Cover-ups and reworks are very dependent on the existing tattoo, so I’ll need to see clear photos and know what you’re hoping to do with it before I can determine whether it’s something I can take on.
-
My schedule typically allows me to draw for appointments the day before, so designs are not sent out in advance. For copyright and artwork protection purposes, I also do not send proofs or completed designs digitally before your appointment.
-
Absolutely! I want you to feel comfortable and excited about what you’re getting tattooed. We can make reasonable adjustments to the design, sizing, or placement together before we begin. If you’re wanting to make major changes from what was originally discussed that require a significant amount of additional drawing or preparation time, we may need to reschedule your appointment for another day. This ensures I have enough time to give your design the attention it deserves without feeling rushed.
